Help! I'm stressed!!What can I do? |
I've been exercising and It has helped a bit. I don't want to turn to alcohol! (been clean for 2 days) How can I cope with it? Id break out the weed and a blunt and get my mind right....our jerk off....and this answer is completely serious. Take some time off to relax and do things you really enjoy (hobbies, music, spa, etc.) Tell your friends/family about it so if you start to slip down that path, they can pull you out of it. You've made progress, and you don't want to waste it. Also, if you feel this is a serious problem, seek counseling. This could make a world of difference. Congratulations on your progress so far, and keep it up! Take a nap... STRESS, is something we all have to learn to deal with, everyone deals and copes with it differntly, some suggestions are to use breathing technics that help you to relax, take a walk, do some exercies, some foods we eat have a relaxing effect on us, there are even some vitamins that help you to relax, try laying down foe a few minutes in a cool comfotable dark place and listen to some relaxing tapes, cd;s etc, they even have guided meditation which really help you to relax, i needed to learn for myself for i suffer from fibromyalgia, so i learned reiki, look into it on the web, try youga, also its great for the mind and body to relax you totally, treat yourself to a massage, but PLEASE do not turn to drinking, it is a step back for you, and it will only make you feel worse, you may temporarylly feel better, but be strong, talk to family friends or even call a help line, make a positive descion to help to improve your life and health. best of luck to you, and remeber BE STRONG Get naked and have fun!!! So I assume that means you have been working out for two days?? You need to work at it more than that. Plus if you are trying to stay away from alcohol. You need to keep yourself busy at all times when not sleeping. Just working out is not gonna help. Working out helps.. But it will not give you the desired effects in two days.. Stay busy. Stress can arise for a variety of reasons. Any change in our lives can be stressful. In dealing with stress, the lifestyle needs a complete overhaul.
