For how long can stress or worrying delay a period? |
My period is almost two weeks late. I am sexually active, so it is possible that I could be pregnant. I took a home pregnancy test, and the results were negative. I'm thinking based on what I've read and heard from other girls that this could be stress related. Also, I had a surgery back in January, where I had an ovarian (sp?) syst removed. Could this have something to do with it? And if it is stress, for how long can stress or worrying delay a period? GO TO THE DOCTOR!! If you have had an ovarian cyst removed then you could have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) Which would cause you to miss your period and some other weird things to go on with your body. If in fact this is stress related then there would be no answer for your question. The individual body and cause of stress can vary from person to person. There is no way to be precise. Go to the doctor and find out for sure what is going on with your body. Girl, if you are THAT worried you need this: http://www.meditationstore.net/index.php... ASAP! I think i heard b4 that stress can affect some women like that, but i don't know how long it can last. Go to that page i copied above and get a stress eraser, i have it and it works miricles Let's see. If it kills you then it can delay it permanently. |
