My 40 year old brother suffered a stroke , his stroke was on the right side of his brain?


like i said his stroke was on his right side of his brain which effected the left side of his body , it has been about 2 weeks and he is getting around on a kane very well , how ever his mind is not right he has went off on the family even my small children and threantened to kill us all ,, all we did was help him . anyone have any thoughts ?

Well, I don't know about dementia...but young people having strokes, often times have other brain damage also. Tell the doctor about it right away. His speech could be off also, like he know what he wants to say....but says something different and gets angry at himself, and puts it on you.

Let his doctor know. There seems to dementia at play here. He should be seeing a neurologist.
