My father had a stroke in August of 07. PLease Help!!!!!? |
After he had his stroke which left him paralyzed on his left side, his wife (my step mom) passed away in Nov of 07. I am now the primary caregiver to my dad and my 11 year old sister. I am 26 have 2 children and am attending college. He cannot live on his own, I sold my own home so that I could move in with him. Are there any benefits that I can receive for being his primary caregiver? I am at my witts end trying to keep everything together. I have also looked into life insurance for him so that if something does happen I will be able to pay for his house and other expenses, are there any tips that you could give??
