Can Orthopedic Physiotherapy recover stroke paralysis? Pls help?

I don't believe so. Paralysis is caused by trauma to the brain and thus rehabilitation is aimed at motor, sensory, visual and perceptual perception and speech disorders. Physiotherapy might help keep the joints and muscles loose, but it won't do much for recovery.

There is an excellent guidebook available for Stroke Rehabilitation. The Guidebook informs you about: 1) how to select a rehabilitation facility; 2) rehabilitation of motor and sensory deficits; 3) rehabilitation of visual and perceptual deficits; 4) rehabilitation of speech-language disorders; and 5) rehabilitation of activities of daily living.
