The hospital has DROPPED my Grandma...breaking her ribs and shoulder after a stroke. Should i sue?

My Grandma recently had a massive stroke, but was recovering quickly in the ICU until a nurse dropped her on the floor. During the fall she broke 4 ribs, fractured her clavicle, and hit her head pretty hard [all on her stroke side of her body]! Now she is getting worse, cant move, in constant pain, and is unable to do any rehab to regain strength on her bad side. The drop has also caused a raise in her blood pressure, irregular heart beat, and a possible blood clot in her leg. Because the fall was the hospitals fault, and may cause severe damage if not death to my grandma is the hospital to blame for this? Can my family sue the hospital? Does this happen often?

Yes, I would contact a very good attorney immediately. That is horrible and I hope she is okay.

wow im sorry

i would ask a lawyer about it

i say sue their sorry butts. that hardly ever happens

Yes you surely can and should!

SUE SUE SUE!!!!! there is no way you could lose that case, and i hope your granny gets better. that's really terrible, i'm so sorry.

deffinently sue them!!!! even though it could have been an accident on there part, it doesn't matter, that's why they have ins. just for things like that. go find a lawyer(a good one) they will let you know what kind of a lawsuit you have, and won't charge you unless they win it. good luck to you and your family. hope your grandma"s health turns for the better.

First of all... WHAT KIND OF HOSPITAL IS THIS?!!!!

Second of all... yes you should sue them.

The hospital should fire this nurse and from now on, hire only people who KNOW how to do their job.

hell yes, a*sholes imagine the pain she was in, do it for your nan

Simple with no frills......

Now and immediately you get a lawyer. Not in two days after the family nitter natters and has talks but NOW.

I would deffinatly look into it!
