My nana suffered a massive stroke this morning, she's now on life support, what are her chances of living?

she is in her mid 60's

If by life support, you mean that she's unconscious, unresponsive to pain, and on a ventilator, then the prognosis is poorer than if she is able to breath on her own. But having said that, I've seen some pretty miraculous turn-arounds. Your doctors will be watching to see how much recovery occurs in the first 24 hours, and then in the first week. If she had her stroke this morning, then it's just too soon to tell. There may be swelling of the brain, and that may clear with time. It also makes a tremendous difference whether this is an embolic stroke (a blood clot) or a hemorrhagic stroke. Hemorrhagic strokes are almost always worse than embolic strokes. Finally, even a very small stroke, if it occurs low down in the brain stem, where the centers of consciousness and respiration are, can be the most devastating of all.

Wait 24 hours, and pray that she makes a good recovery.

Damn not sure man but good luck and sorry to hear.
Hope she feels better.

Dont know...Sorry to hear that...
