Is it true you smell burnt toast when you have a stroke? |
Is it true you smell burnt toast when you have a stroke? Personally ...no...but i do enjoy stroking burnt toast and I smell. Do i win a prize? Actually its not. Thats when you pee on the electric fence. A stroke you smell fish. Could be true but, like anything, every situation is different for every individual. I smelled nothing out of the ordinary when I had my stroke, but I, too, have heard of people who did. Don't know, never had one, and hopefully never will It might be. Stroke means that blood vesels do not feed brain normally, and it might stimulate different brain regions strangely. It's possible. People with epilepsy often smell onions just before a seizure. |
