My grandfather had a massive stroke -- how can I help?

I've looked up treatment on the Internet, but it's all medicinal. I want treatment that I can give him as a family member. He is 85, had a massive stroke (oxygen was not able to reach his brain), and has been in the hospital since Friday. He is able to speak, but is frusrated because he cannot get some words & names out, but then again, it has only been 3 days.

How can I help him out? How should I talk to him so he can recover and be mostly "normal" like he was? Jog his memory? ANY info I can get would be GREAT.

Well, his brain should start functioning and recovering on it's own. Just make sure that your grandpa is trying his hardest, pray, and make sure he knows that you're going to support him through the recovery. Good luck.
