I kept feeling numbness on my arm for no apparant reasons is it symtoms of stroke? |
I kept feeling numbness on my right arm when i am doing working. Even as i am typing now i can suddenly feel the numbness come and then go... Is this a symtom of stroke? I have been having this symtom for 2 weeks for the same arms. Is there anything wrong with me? Transient numbness is unlikely to be due to stroke. Numbness in stroke is likely to be persistent. It will not come and go just like that. But your symptom definitely needs evaluation by a neurologist for other causes. You can also experience numbness if your cervical vertabrae in your neck are out of alignment. You may need a chiropractic alignment and the numbness will go away. There are many more symptoms when one is having a stroke. There are nerves in the neck that connect with the arms. When your neck is out of alignment, there can be numbness in the arm. Maybe not. A time came to me where I was getting numbness on my arms and legs but eventually after about a week or too it became better. A stroke would have happened about half an hour after you arm was numb at once so .. its not a stroke you can relax :D Stroke symptoms include headaches, slurred words or the inability to speak, loss of balance and, sometimes, numbness in the arms and legs. No, it's not. Relax. It'll have something to do with your blood flow. Strecth your arms, make sure you're not too hot/cold. Loads of things can give that effect. It could be metacarpal syndrome. Try Googling it to see if the symptoms match. Don't worry, you're not having a stroke as I think the entire right side of your body would be numb. |
