Can you have a stroke while sleeping? |
if it is possible how could you tell if you had a stroke? Would a MRI show if a stroke occurred? are you coherent while having a stroke or do you black-out? you can indeed have a stroke if you are sleeping.....because the risk factors still exist while you are sleeping......mri will show if a stroke has occured.....one side of the body will be weaker or flaccid, which could result in difficulty talking ...... one could be dizzy, have blurry vision and possibly have difficulty walking.......it usually doesn.t make someone black out..... Sleep Apnea Boosts Stroke Risk Stroke can occur at any time and at any place. It is largely preventable..by lifestyle changes. Keeping normal weight...reduce fat intake..no smoking (the biggest risk factor)..exercise (the most beneficial against stroke). And young people are becoming increasingly probe to stroke....due to a lifestyle which includes lots of junk food yes thats why some people do not know they have had one |
