Do you know whether TIA's lead to larger strokes?

TIA's are small mini strokes. Does anyone have experience with these. They are also called Transient Ischemic Attacks.

TIAs are caused by partial or transient lack of blood to a region of the brain with effects lasting less than 24 hours.

About 30% of stroke patients have a history of TIAs.

The risk of stroke is greatest within the first 48 hours after a TIA and for the next month but declines steadily thereafter.

The incidence of stroke is not related to the number of duration of the TIAs but is increased in patients with hypertension or diabetes.

In addition to what was said up above, it's important to get a thorough medical exam to learn what risk factors you have and then start working on reducing them.

Absolutely.
