How much is the chance of recovery when a stroke patient got a second stroke after a gap of about 1or 2 years?

This depends on the type of Stroke the person get the first time, and the severity of the second stroke.

I hope that after the first stroke that the patient was put on appropriate medication, so as to lesson further strokes.

I have had a stroke, but am recovering and will have a full recovery as it was a very mild one. My brother has has three, and although he lost sight in one eye, he is still functional, can drive and get around.

So as for your question, it depends on what he had previous, how severe it is now.

I will pray for a full recovery.

The chance is what you make it and if you're serious about wanting change...Strokes and heart attacks are cause by blockages and hardened arteries which prevent oxygen from reaching vital organs. To prevent and reverse it you must clean out your arteries to prevent clots and allow blood and oxygen to flow freely and effortlessly. First things first, diet. No more animal products or packaged products. Only fresh raw fruits and vegetables. Secondly, Apple cider vinegar Braggs organic with mother. This actually eats away at artery plaque and prevents hardening of the arteries. This will gradually allow your blood to flow normally and regulate blood pressure. Thirdly frequent MRI scans to ensure that there are not clots anywhere else waiting to sneak up on you.

The reason why people who have stokes or heart attacks are prone to getting them again is because they never take care of the problem, they are only prescribed pills. Actively clean your arteries out and focus on health and you could never have a stroke again, EVER again. Doctors would rather prescribe you 10 pills then tell you that you can clean your arteries out, why because prescription drubs are a multi multi multi billion dollar a year industry, and healthy people don't need prescriptions....get it yet????

It depends on the damage done specially in the second time if the person has recovered, shoud get a good evaluation done to assess the deformities, if advised always use orthoses as this will hel preventing further detoration and allow mobility and function.

Not very well in most cases. A stroke usually causes some type of brian damage and affects motor skills and vision as well. Most stroke patience die on the second one.
