Atrial Fibrillation: what type of pain occurs before and during heart attack or stroke? |
I am asking opinions from patients of Atrial Fibrillation what type of pain they experienced prior to and during a heart attack or stroke due to AF. If you have COPD and/or overweight, please relate to both if they created more problems. http://www.a-fib.com/PersonalExperiences... I went into a fib and I was not over weight and I was only 47 years old. I had no warning I just rolled over on my right side in bed and boom my heart rate went to 279 beats a minute. I had little pain in the chest except for tightness and burning. I had problems with the use of my lower extremities. I tried for hours to cough, punch myself in the chest and everything else I could think of but, to no avail to normalize the heart rate. I have always had some irregular rhythums and still do even after my Cardio Version and now have even more serious heart function problems. It sometimes feels like it quits pumping for a while. I get light headed and head for the floor. |
