Stroke longterm affects? |
my father is 75 and is having stroke like sypmtoms. if he does have a strtoke and recovers, will he eventually die?or could he live another 10 more years after suffering a stroke? Anyone who is having "stroke like symptoms" belongs in the ER room at the hospital. Don't wait to see it if gets worse! He needs to be evaluated for treatment. studies show that patient who underwent stroke has a higher chance of another stroke occuring than those who who had no history of stroke when they are of the same age. however, proper exercise, diet and lifestyle modifications can help prevent the recurence of stroke, and the time of another stroke occuring can never really be predicted.
