Brain tumor and muiltible strokes. Have changed my personality. Where and what help can I get?

I been diagnoised with a brain tumor and also strokes in all parts of my brain.
I have read that there might be personality changes. I can see that I get way more angry and frustrated.
I fear I will end up in a rage and do some damage to myself or to whatever is around.

I am sorry that your son and brother do not recognize the seriousness of your situation. Just because a tumor is benign does not mean that it is not very serious and potentially deadly - or worse.

If you are so inclined you could have either your son or your brother accompany you to your Dr's office and then after the Dr has explained to them how serious your situation truly is you could, if you so chose, ask them to wait for you in the waiting room for the remainder of your appointment.

In dealing with this tumor you are going to need the close support of whomever is going to be taking you to treatments, watching after you should you need surgery or taking care of your affairs if you need to spend some time in a rehab facility. Again, I am sorry they are so insensitive but the sooner they learn how serious this is the sooner they can start making it up to you for their previously insensitive behavior.

I had a benign bone tumor about 15 years ago. At first I thought - benign - no big deal. Well it was a big deal, a very big deal and it meant almost a year of my life to recover as much as I was going to ever recover. A benign brain tumor like yours would be twice as difficult of a situation to deal with. That said I have two close friends who have had benign brain tumors removed and today both are doing well, although in both cases the tumor was a life changing event for both people.
