Does HGH human growth hormone helps stroke patients recover paralyzed body part faster?

This is a great question. I did a little digging and can't find a single medical journal that answers this question and it is possible that nobody thought to try it.

Attached is a list of thing HGH is used to treat.

Educated Guess: Very doubtful that HGH would help them recover faster. The nerve damage in the brain is from a lack of oxygen to that section of the brain. Nerve tissue does not heal well by comparison to other body structures. For year people said they do not "regenerate" at all, it turns out that may not be true, but such small growth that it might as well be. Plus HGH use has been shown to CAUSE strokes.

Stem cell research might give better hope, similar to the applications in spinal cord injuries.

nope..HGH has no such effect
