Is a transient ischemic attack considered an acute stroke?

By definition a transient ischemic attack should recover completely within 24 hours. If it does not recover, it is called a stroke.

Transient means it goes away, its temporary, ans uusally more minor.

An acute stroke is serious, and needs treatment, and possibly a long recovery.t
