Older woman suffering strokes? |
gran had water infection few weeks back and was very confused with loads of strengh ,we later found out she suffered a mini stroke, 5 weeks later shes better but weaker, moved here to another hospital to get stronger, now she all confused again and got loads of strengh again they said she had another stroke will she get bk to normal again so scared shes 80 , If she doesn't suffer any more ministrokes, she should get close enough to normal that you won't notice the difference. If she suffers more of them she may change a bit, but she'll still be the woman who loves you. (My father suffered ministrokes for years before he died, and the only change was that he lost his hearing around the same time. Now I wear 2 hearing aids - it's something genetic, although I'm not what you'd call young any more.) |
