Did he have a stroke? |
My stepfather we think had a stroke today. He is in the hospital now. The left side of his body is numb and he dont have any concious movement but his arm thrashes around non stop. It is constantly moving like he is scratching his belly and then he starts hitting his face. He is not aware he is moving it and when he catches his hand thrashing he will hold it with his right hand. The first hospital he was at said it was because of the stroke but when they transfered him the lasy was unsure if it was a stroke or not because of his thrashing. They ran test on him but the results will not be in til tomorrow. Do you think it was a stroke or something else. He talks fine like he would normally no slurred speech or anything. He remembers everything also. Yes it was definitely a stroke. I'm sorry. possible slight stroke |
