Did I get heat stroke today? |
I was at a music festival today and I was up in the mosh, and I eventually got nauseous, so I decided to go back to my chair and it took a while to push through everybody, and I was getting more and more dizzy and nauseous, feeling like I was about to throw up (no I wasn't drinking, but I'm sure I looked drunk) Once I got out of the crowd everything started getting even more dizzy and everything I saw turned white, so much so that I could hardly see, so I sat down on the path until I felt I could get back up. I couldn't even make it back to my seat without sitting down. I'm pretty sure if I didn't sit down that second I would have passed out soon after. That happens to me sometimes too. It happens when my blood sugar just gets low. You start to feel dizzy, shaky, your vision gets affected like things start to look like a snowy TV channel. Sometimes your hearing gets affected, people sound like they are so far away. Usually if I sit down for a few minutes and stop moving... my body can draw enough sugar out of my blood to run a bit longer, but I do eventually need to eat something, sugary foods & drinks usually help it pretty quick. I don't have diabetes or anything, my body is just prone to doing that when its hot & I have not eaten a lot.& yes, it had actually made me pas sout a few times, so it's best to just sit down when u feel like that. Heat exhaustion. Had it been heat stroke you would not have recovered as you did. Sounds like it. |
