I am having panic attacks for no reason..I am so afraid I'm having heart attacks or even a stroke during them! |
Am I alone here.. I get so worked up I almost convince myself I'm going to have a heart attack or stroke...I'm so scared...it just keeps happening out of no where...can anyone help me...some ways to snap myself out of it or some reason why this could be happening?! Report Abuse You might have an anxiety disorder. Unfortunately, there's often not one clear "reason why it's happening." A professional can help you find the source of your anxiety and learn to feel your emotions in a healthy way. I strongly recommend finding a therapist in your area that specializes in panic attacks and anxiety disorders. you will not have heart attacks or stroke. You should bring your anxiety down ASAP otherwise they will keep on happening. You need to learn to relax. There are a lot of relaxation techniques out there, the most popular is control breathing technique. Slow down with your breathing. Do something you enjoy eg dancing, swimming, yoga, meditate etc. I think you've gone into a vicious cycle so go and talk to your gp as soon as you can.
