My brother is 17 yrs old, could this be a stroke, plz respond?!?

My brother is 17 yrs old, my mom told me that he woke up with a headache and then he couldn't feel his hands or legs and couldn't walk right, now he doesn't have movement on his legs, or his arms and he can only move his head, and it's hard for him to breathe or speak, i'm not there with him right now because of the army, but plz if anyone knows these symptoms answer my question plz. thanks in advance.

he is in the hospital doing exams on him, but doctors still don't know what it is or why it's happening to him..

Seriously, has he not been sent by ambulance to the hospital ? Advise your family not to wait another second and get him immediate help. Good luck to you all especially your brother.

Stroke Warning Signs and Symptoms
Any one of the following symptoms can be a warning sign of stroke. IMMEDIATELY DIAL 911 OR GO TO AN EMERGENCY ROOM!!!!

* Weakness in an arm, hand, or leg
* Numbness on one side of the body
* Sudden dimness or loss of vision, particularly in one eye
* Sudden difficulty speaking
* Inability to understand what someone is saying
* Dizziness or loss of balance
* Sudden, excruciating headache

TAKE ACTION!!!

* Not all the warning signs occur in every stroke. Don't ignore signs of stroke, even if they go away!
* Check the time. When did the first warning sign or symptom start? You'll be asked this important question later.
* If you have one or more stroke symptoms that last more than a few minutes, don't delay! Immediately call 9-1-1 or the emergency medical service (EMS) number so an ambulance (ideally with advanced life support) can quickly be sent for you.
* If you're with someone who may be having stroke symptoms, immediately call 9-1-1 or the EMS. Expect the person to protest 鈥?denial is common. Don't take "no" for an answer. Insist on taking prompt action.

EDIT: Thank God he's in the hospital already!!
