What can an old man that is paralyzed on his left side due to stroke do at home to make himself busy?

This old man recently had stroke and his left hand and leg is not working. He is an smart and educated man. What he can do at home besides watching TV, readings, or talking to spend his time?

Is there a senior center near by ?
Perhaps a few days a week he might like to spend time there and meet new friends.

Good luck.

Does he have a computer available? That would put the world at his fingertips. He could read online, play games, post to message boards, or just research whatever interests him. If he doesn't have a computer, you might consider crossword puzzles, sudoku, or jigsaw puzzles.
