Can you have heat stroke with out a fever? |
I have been sick the past week and I was out in the sun working for 10 hrs today. I dont have a fever but I do have a sun burn. Also from the first 20 min I was out I was having trouble breathing ( I blame it on being sick and this made me weak) Anyways I am lightheaded but that is it, Other then that I feel fine my tem is 98.8. Am I fine? Yes absolutely and coupled with you being ill, it could have all combined to make you lightheaded, but I believe it might be dehydration. You need to drink plenty of fluids and certainly try to stay cool and out of the heat. Water right now is your best friend, along with an electrolyte replacing drink such as Gatorade. Rest up, keep hydrated and you should bounce back. |
