My 2 sisters have cysts on their heads.one has died from a stroke and the other won't have them removed.?

do you think the cysts made my sister have a stroke?she was 60 when she died.other sister is 66.i do not have cysts anywhere.

Cysts are normally benign, they are NOT tumors. Cysts are so common on the scalp, we remove them on patients on a daily basis. A cyst did not cause your sister to have a stroke, strokes are clots in the brain, A cyst is a balloon like sac filled with a cheesy material, they are not located under the skull(the bony area) so don't worry about the cysts. i am sorry for your loss. your sister should really talk to a doctor about this.
My condolences on your loss. But cysts don't cause strokes, or aggrevate the conditions that do. Nor do they have anything to do with cancer. A cyst is a loose bag, containing material that belongs elsewhere in the body, but for some reason the cells are misplaced. They can occur anywhere. They should be monitored to make sure they are benign (non-malignant) but are not a cause for concern unless they are very large, and create problems for the person.
