Can a eye doctor tell when a patient is going to have a stroke?

by looking at there eyes and if so what do they see in there eyes that indicates a patient may have a stroke!!

When we look in the back of the eye, we can actually see your blood vessels in the back of your eye. If changes from normal are noted there, you can be pretty sure that those changes are going on in blood vessels throughout the body.
Some changes that are not good can be the vessels starting to cross each other funny, the blood vessels leaking, the blood vessels becoming tortuous, etc. Source(s): in optometry school
only if it happens near the eye.
THEY CAN TELL BY BROKEN VEINS ON THE BACKSIDE OF THE EYE FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE OR DIABETES.
The pupil can blow out, and the patient will lose their vision. But a medical doctor (MD) such as an ophthamologist will also have experience in other areas of medicine and so will be able to predict it to some extent as well.
