I was on Ortho Evra ,stoppedtwo morth before a car wreck and suffered a stroke,did the patch have a roll strok


in 04 I was takin Ortho Evra ,stopped two morths before my car wreck and suffered a stroke because of a blood clot in my artery in my neck.

Did the hormones of the patch contribute to your stroke?

Possibly. However, you may have other risk factors related to your health or injuries that played a larger role. There are so many possibilities, it would be very difficult to determine the exact cause. Especially since after 2 months, the levels of hormones should have been close to normal again.

Besides, the risk of clots is well-documented and advertised, so I highly doubt that you'd have grounds to sue, if that's where you're going with this question.
