Is it possible for a person 30 younger in reasonably good physical condition to have a heart attack or stroke? Unfortunately, yes. Some health risks are modifiable like avoidance of smoking or fatty foods in the diet. And then there are non modifiable risks like genetic predispositions. For example some people have abnormally extremely high cholesterol that predisposes them to a stroke or a heart attack. yes, even children can have a heart attack or stroke yes, they can be genetic faults When I was in high school one of my guy friends had a mild heart attack...he didn't smoke or drink & played football & basketball...so im my experience, yea There are a lot of preexisting conditions that can cause a heart attack or a stroke in people of any age. Also, a good, sharp blow to the chest between heartbeats can throw off the heart rhythm and cause a heart attack, or can stop a heart all together. The simple answer is yes , I have a cousin who had a stroke when she was Very Very young,(It was quite survere realy as she was left paralized down the left side of her body) She's married with children of her own now, so the only thing I can say is don't worry about it and get on with your life. Yes, my husband recently had a bypass surgery and though it is not as common even small children can have heart attacks and stroke...there were two having bypass surgerys at the same time...ages 3, and 5. |
