After having strokes can you go up?


we want to take my dad up camping in the mountains he has had severe strokes will the the change in altitude about 7000 feet affect him? we need true facts!

you are asking us idiots here instead of your, or his, doctor. i hope i never have you as a daughter.
I don't know, but I'd be careful about hiking up a 7,000 foot mountain if your dad has had a stroke.
You dad would probably have to talk to his doctor to see if it's ok to leave on a trip.
It might be risky. If I where u, I'd ask my family Dr.
For the facts,check with his doctor or nurse connection.Has he been exercising regularly-walking,swimming etc..??? Peace.
