Is this a stroke sign???


my cousin just noticed one of his finger was not able to move sideway, only up and down from this afternoon. it was yesterday. and now it tends to bend towards one side. what could cause this?

um...lm not quite sure if it was a stroke coz when mi dad got one his hole side of his body went numb and couldn't move but when i bumped my finger hard it would only go up and down and not side to side but if was only because i hit it hard or he could of just pulled a musle just sounds like that to me because thats what happens to me when i pull a musle
I would think it would be a nerve related problem, mostly time is the healer, but the greatest diagnosis I can give you is to tell him to see his doctor, your cousin will thank you for it. Ian RN 36years

Sounds like a finger injury sign. It can be caused by nerve or tendon damage.
