THIS IS HEALTH ABOUT DRUGZ PLZ HELP! how was this substance(gasoline) abused<--what does this mean?

It means that someone inhales gasoline vapors to become intoxicated.

Abused, in this case, simply means used in a manner not intended, though there is the implication that the result of such misuse is negative. Inhalant abuse (huffing) is one of the most dangerous forms of substance abuse. The substances involved are usually volatile organic compounds, most of which are carcinogenic or else cause significant brain damage. Gasoline is one that causes brain damage and if it is leaded gasoline the problem is worse.

Huffing gasoline is a VERY DANGEROUS thing to do.

Gasoline has, among other toxic substances, benzene.

A teenaged kid in my neighborhood died of leukemia recently, and there is some suspicion that he might have been huffing gasoline. Benzene has a well-established link to leukemia (among workers in the oil industry) - now, are you sure you want to mess with that?

BTW, if you are asking about "abuse" it is defined as using something to the point that your well-being or survival is threatened. That includes not only your physical health, but mental health and viability as a productive member of society (i.e. being able to hold down a job).
