Are there any types of places for teens to willingly go to to discuss substance abuse and problems w/o parents

if i teenager wanted to go to a meeting-type of place to listen or talk about their problems without parental consent or knowledge, where would they go/do these places even exist?

i know there are hotlines, but if a teen wanted to talk to someone in person (other than a school counsler or someone) or attend an AA-type meeting WITHOUT their parents knowing, where do they go?

You can attend an AA meeting without your parents knowing.

I'm almost positive that there are places like that!
I don't really think they would be around on the internet exactly, but I think you're looking for something with people more around your age.
Try searching around your area if you would try the internet. Make sure to put in your city maybe, and chat with some very, very close friends about it.
Rumours spread like wildfire, so I'm sure talk of refuge like that would be available.

go to a place where aa meetings are held and see what they have available. i know there are some meetings they hold for young adults that doesnt need parental consent
