Does God have a serial substance-abuse problem?

Reading the Bible, for very obvious reasons, is like reading different books. But does anyone else think he might have been experimenting with different intoxicants when he was dictating the different texts?

I mean, first of all - a world in six days? What kind of deadline is THAT? A Coke-head's kinda deadline, that's what kind! Then for most of the Old Testament he's like a seriously grumpy old sod with a cheap wine hangover: "Do it my way, and shut up! Cos I said so, and I'm God, alright! You're all doomed! Just shut the hell up...no, I'm not letting you in, you're too noisy, go away..."

The New Testament comes around and it's like he's discovered marijuana - all peace and love and give the bread to the Man, man, but keep your heart and your spirit free...

Revelation - Gotta be God on a bad acid trip, hasn't it? Flaming worlds, and oceans of blood and seven-headed beasts and fiery swords out of the mouths of sparrows and all sorts of freaky stuff and then we die!

Any thoughts?

Does God have a serial substance-abuse problem? <<==no. No scriptural reference about God becoming an adict, but there are lots of reference where God is called wise.

I have asked the same question regarding the book of revelation. The writer was obviously having a bad shroom trip or something... it reminds me of the music from the late 60's and early 70's..
