Do you think substance abuse is a problem in the USA? Of both legal and illegal?

Why or why not?

What do you think causes the problem, how early does the abuse start and why, and how it this going to affect society long term?

Then it begs the question of should doctors be held CRIMINALLY responsible?

Did you know RITALIN is a narcotic and improperly applied will make an ADDICT out of someone.

How many kids in the USA are on RITALIN? You ought to do a comparison to OTHER countries. You might be a little shocked at the findings.

Can be.

Of course putting them in cages is about as bad, if not worse.

Yes.

I'm of the opinion that it's mostly due to the fact that the family unit doesn't exist for most kids anymore. It's rare for parents to make dinner and sit at the table and actually talk to their kids today. Everybody kind of goes their own way and fends for themselves.

Parents should make an effort to spend quality time with their kids, talk to them, show some interest in them, be there to teach them morals, respect and that there are consequences to everything we do.

Yes.

I think it is very much a problem. In my opinon it is to easy to get a hold of, I mean people abusing subscriptions can sell what they don't use and then go back for more. It can be sold to legal or illegal.

Its a big enough problem that Obama is using America's drug problem to blame law-abiding gun owners and dealers of causing Mexico's drug cartel problem.

"Never let a catastrophe go to waste", or something like that.

Look at the last 2 presidents that were elected, what a shame. Crack and cocaine abusers both of them.
