Joining a Tai Chi class how much weight will I lose?


Twice a week I'll be in a class for 1hour on Tuesday & Thursdays.Mondays,Fridays I do circuit training. Wednesday,Saturday,Sundays I ride a stationary bike for 30min & hit the heavy bag for 3-3min bouts.I eat a real fruit smoothie made of ice & the frozen fruit of choice,apple,whole grain toast in the morning.Lunch I eat a turkey on whole grain bread with lettuce,onion,spinach,tomatoe& mustard.Dinner I eat mostly fish & salads & lots of corn.I snack on nuts all day to help with hunger cravings.Your in put is appricated.I am 5'4'' & weigh 179lbs need to get to 145-150lbs.

I was also in a tai chi class before, it was also during tuesdays and thursdays. My instructor told us that tai chi isn't really for losing weight. It's commonly used as a theraphy. I don't think I actually got slimmer but I feel healthier and my posture somewhat improved. Tai chi is actually very refreshing though and it strengthens your legs...

Take note: My instructor also told me that tai chi might help you in developing thigh muscles. So if you don't want those unwanted muscles and those thicker thighs, look for another class instead.

Some folks from the other class, Muay Thai, had lost a lot of weight. Their pants were falling off due to strenous exercises that helped them gain their firmer and slimmer body. They recommended Muay Thai a lot for losing weight. According to them, they lost a lot of inches off their waist. And yes, I saw the results in their bodies.
