Kinda Scared -- Teen Health ?

I am a female and i am only 12. Lately i have been feeling at times like lightheaded, drowsy, weak legs & arms and feeling dizzy. Why do i keep feeling this way at the strangest times? I think ts because i have low blood sugar. Is this somenthing serious? My friend thought that maybe i was hungy, but i wasnt that sure if i was ! Could this be like a disease like diabetes or cancer or somenthin? They both run in my family.

Should i tell my parents ? should i go to the doctor or the hospital? Or is it nothing serious at all? What can i eat if this happens in school ?

HELP ! ASAP

tell your parents how you have been feeling ..there are a good deal of things that could be wrong with you or it could just be your age..A check up with the doctor would be best..

be safe and tell it to your parents so they can bring you to the doctor

Try not to worry, first of all speak to your parents.
Do you eat breakfast? Sometimes the solution is as simple as that.
Try to eat a snack at morning break, dried fruit is good.
If you think it's low blood sugar you can buy glucose tablets from the Chemists, they get sugar into your blood stream quickly, and taste nice too.
Whatever you do though, go to see the doctor or school nurse, just to put your mind at rest.

TELL UR PARENTS
eat food.. too but tell them of any signs

Once you get the idea into the head that you have something like diabetes, every little thing that doesn't feel right, like dizziness, you will think it is related to it. I always do that when i think i'm ill and then I just forget about it in the end. But seriously, tell your mom! She will know, trust me, she will help.

Go to the doctor! It could be life threatening! Not eating the right foods could also cause those feelings, but you should get checked out for sure.

Go to a Kwack and have your blood sugar checked out, this seem's to be the problem.

Tell your parents so they can get you a doctor appointment. It could be something like anemia, which is an iron deficiency, or it could be something more serious. Just tell your parents as soon as possible so you can figure out what it is.

i'm thirteenn.
and a vegetarian..
sometimes i get that from low preotein levels and a blood sugar defeciancy.
eat your food triangle..
and not very much fats and sugars.
and if it continues tell your parents and go to the doctor.
and for the time being carry like a baggy with apple slices or a chewy bar.
something to snack on.
:]
good luck,
feel better.

You are 12, most likely you have nothing wrong with you. 99.9% not cancer, Diabetes, are you overweight? I would go the Dr. if you really want to but at 12 you should be just fine.

Just tell your parents and get them to take you to the doc so you can rule out something serious.
It could be hypoglycemia or diabetes tho.
I'm sure it will be fine.

please tell your parents, when in doubt, it is serious

i felt like this for a while too,for me it was nothing.but maybe you have a problem,id tell my parents,
