Is thyroid a very serious disorder, what can be the remedies to cure?

Depending on the severity and progression of any of the many thyroid diseases, they can range from a minor annoyance to death if left untreated. There is no cure for thyroid disease. Only treatment.

The Thyroid is a gland not a disease.
However having either hypo or hyperthyroidism can be treated with medicaton.

If you have a thyroid disorder, there is no cure. Have you seen a doctor and been tested? The doctor will decide what treatment is best for you. A thyroid disorder can contribute to other problems with your health. So do not wait, get it checked.

They can be serious if left untreated. I don't know if you are referring to an overactive or underactive thyroid. The symptos are basically the opposite of each other though there are a few symptoms that both conditions have. I will list them below

overactive - hyperthyroid - weight loss, diarrhea, increased sweating headaches, anxiety, fast heart rate. nervousness

underactive - hypothyroid - weight gain, constipation, dry skin, hairloss, fatigue, depression, headaches, slow heart rate, low blood pressure, muscle and joint aches, ridged fingernails,

They both are treated with medication. Sometimes with hyper, the gland is removed.

With both conditions, symptoms continue to get worse and can lead to comaor death after years of no treatment.
