Anybody on eltroxin (Thyroxin) for thyroid disorders?


Can Eltroxin dosage cause a faster pulse rate if the dosage is incorrect?

yes, because thyroid hormone (thryroxin) stimulates almost everything in our body from heart rate to metabolism just like our regular T4 our body would normally produce.
if there is overdosage yes.check ur thyroid profile.thyroxine does stimulate ur heart to beat faster.
i dont think ur wrong dosage for a single day effect ur pulse rate and all. if ur repeating it, it may affect. im on eltroxin 100 mgfor the last 6 months. how it can be a wrong dosage if ur taking it after the consultation of an endocrynologist!!
