Does this sound like a thyroid disorder? |
Please read my previous question, linked below: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... I just discovered thyroid disorders, and some of the symptoms match up. However, I am not gaining weight, and that seems to be a key issue with thyroid disorders. There really is only one way to find out. Get a blood test. Weight gain isn't necessary for thyroid disorders. You may also have fatigue, depression, intolerance for heat or cold, constipation, brittle hair and finger nails, menstrual cycle disturbances, and in extreme cases, impaired cognition. Source(s): http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/... are you losing hair (thinning or bald patches)? do you have really dry skin? do you have problems with concentration? do you feel sluggish and tired? if so, then maybe you have a thyroid problem. otherwise, you might just be a hypochondriac. |
