Is there any other medicine for Trichomoniasis besides flagly i take it on a reg basis but it makes me sick? No, unfortunately metronidazole (Flagyl) is what doctors prescribe to cure trichomoniasis. I know how you feel though! I was prescribed Flagyl when I had BV (bacterial vaginosis). It is disgusting! It made me so nauseous and the taste is just repulsive! It tastes like metal or something. If it is making you sick eat something before you take it and definitely wash it down with something so you can get the taste out of your mouth! You should also get your partner treated for it because men can continue to infect or re-infect a female partner until he has been treated. Good luck! Source(s): Personal experience.
