Can a woman pass a yeast infection to a man other than trichomoniasis? |
Can a woman pass a yeast infection to a man other than trichomoniasis? Men rarely contact a yeast infection from women. However, it is possible. Trichomoniasis is not a yeast. It's a type of sexually transmitted disease, which can be picked up from sharing towels as well as intercourse, but, it's very rare to get it that way.INDEED PERSONAL EXPERIENCE yes!, this happened to a friend of mine. well should i say in reverse. she kept getting yeast infections and the doctor took a look at her partner and he had foot fungus. aparently that is the form of yeast infection in men. the doctor said it can work in reverse too. a women with a yeast infection can give a man a foot infections. lol Yes, it is very common! Usually when a woman gets a yeast infection, she is advised to not have sex until it clears up. A good many times, her partner is given medication as well in order for them to not transmit it back and forth. I believe the med is called Flagyl. |
