| *Women health>>>Trichomoniasis |
I have been married for 7 years. i found out i had trichomoniasis when i was 3 mos preg.? |
my husband has been faithful so he says. how else could i have gotten it Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted disease so somebody has been unfaithful. Please be sure to get medical attention right away so as not to cause harm or complications for your baby. Basically I believe this is another word for a kind of yeast infection,I had that also 26 or 27 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter, and I have had reaccuring yeast infections alot in my life.did you question the doctor more?I dont think this means your husband cheated on you at all this is common. Its just a big scary word for a type of yeast infection so dont freak out yet.Yeast infections happens all kinds of ways from even wearing thongs, too much sugar in your diet.Antibiotics is a big cause of it because it kills all bacteria good and bad.The health food store sells a product called acidoppilus which find out from your doc if you can take it either in capsule form or powder,it keeps the good bacteria that as women we need to keep balance in private areas so we dont get yeast infections. Please ask your doctor about this so you dont look at your husband with wonder if he backstabbed you.Believe me I would be the first one to tell you if I thought he was cheating cause its happened to me too many times so call doc and question if hey this is a yeast infection caused from a whole host of other reasons. Good luck if it is yeast infection ...... all doctors recommend cotton panties....... and just to b on the safer side ..... panty liners .... doing this will keep u dry and help in preventing yeast infections .... sexually active women are more at risk for yeast infections .... and u like wearing sexy under garments ... try just wearing them on special ocassions .... silk panties and Thongs ( especailly thongs) contributes to yeast infections ...... Lady right now you have some serious butt kissing to do. This bacteria infection is very common in women. For many many reasons. I know it probaly freak you out to hear that you have this. But its fine. My current girlfriend had it when we met she freak out when i told her she had it. When she decided to listen to me she went to the doctor 3 days later the smell was gone 8 days later she came to me and said wow. i should listen to you more often. That was 2 years ago i think she forgot about the listen part of it..LOL But you will be fine and hey be very lucky you have a FAITHFUL HUSBAND. Ok now go to him and pucker up. LMAO. trichomonas vaginalis is neither bacterial nor fungal (as in a yeast infection), instead it is caused by a microscopic parasite and it is almost always sexually transmitted. there is another species of trichomonas, trichomonas hominis, that is considered non pathogenic and found in the GI tract of humans. What is trichomoniasis? Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted disease (STD). It is sometimes called Trichomonas infection or trich (pronounced "trick"). Trich should be treated to prevent transmitting it to others and to prevent complications if you are pregnant. Trich is the second most common STD in the United States.1 Both men and women can get a trich infection; however, trich is more common in women. What causes trich? Trich is caused by a tiny parasite, a one-celled protozoan. In women, trich organisms usually infect the vagina, urethra, cervix, bladder, and glands in the genital area, such as Bartholin's and Skene's glands. See an illustration of the female reproductive system. In men, infections develop in the urethra or under the foreskin of an uncircumcised penis.
