Is it okay to eat chocolate icecream when you have a urinary tract infection?

I'm taking antibiotics that the doctor gave me, I just get wicked bad cravings for chocolate.

No problem. Just take it in moderation because too much of that would raise your blood sugar and would be a good medium for other bacteria/viruses. Your UTI would be treated but other germs can take advantage of your lowered body resistance.

shouldnt be any problem, im suffering with one as well right now, cranberry juice and water, my boyfriend told me to drink lemonade to, it has an acid in that will kill the infection

Lol yeah, eat what you want.
Drink cranberry juice too. It has something in it that helps it go away. Whatever that vitamin is, is in the medicine the doctor gave you, I guarantee.
I've that twice, it sucks soooo bad.

Btw.. there is over the counter stuff too, so you don't have to get a prescription from the doctor if you get it again. I know that way isn't recommended, but it works.
