Is it safe to take a bath when you have a urinary tract infection?

Is it safe since I'm antibiotics? or could I risk making the infection worse? And I'm 19wks pregnant.

for women they can be caused by bacteria entering the fanny.

there should be no prob

just make sure the bath is very clean before hand.

yes it's safe ,put lavender oil or sea salt in for a cleansing bath, it will make you feel better.

yes its safe.

have shower instead - healthier when you have UTI

i would just wait till ur completely done with the antibiotics! just to be on the safe side =)

I ALWAYS take a bath when I have a UTI, when I was pregnant, I would get them ALL the time... And believe me, it had NOTHING to do with sex, cause I wouldnt let my man 10 feet next to me... lol! I had blatter infections a lot... I think thats kinda the same as an UTI. Taking a bath for me, was the only way to make myself feel better. Its so painful, I know... Hope you're feeling better!

It's fine, just don't soak very long. Keep the water just above lukewarm as well. If you are worried about soaking but still want the relief, just use a hot wet washrag :)

You shouldn't take a bath when you have a UTI; pregnant or not. You should stick to showers!
