Suggest some natural remedies for acute urinary tract infections. i am 7 months pregnant? |
Suggest some natural remedies for acute urinary tract infections. i am 7 months pregnant? Water also is a huge help. I also found preventatives which may help you. There are really no natural remedies for UTIs - there are things you can do to reduce the pain (cranberry juice) but it doesn't treat the infection. if you are in india, make barley drink by boiling 2 cups of barley in about 2 litres of water. you can sweeten it if you want. avoid spicy and hot food. sometimes if you boil 5/6 radish leaves in 1 litre of water and have it, it helps. eating yoghurt, cucumber and bananas is helpful. i have tried eating 1 vitamin C tablet every night before sleeping. if you get an infection get it treated immediately by a doctor and then try the home remedies. drinking plain soda water (half a glass) after meals is also helpful. don't try to hold urine, go as soon as you feel like and go many times. drink at least 3 litres of water (juice, tea, milk don't count but have them as well). i have been suffering from this problem for so many years and only recently found relief. i try most of the home remedies and if i feel that the symptoms are starting, i start drinking a lot of water, avoid spicy food. and i have been eating 1 vitamin C tablet for the last 2 months. the urine must not get very acidic so avoid too much of citric foods but a little bit of acidicity in urine is important to kill bacteria. i could never figure out how much was okay, so i avoid acidic foods and keep up with the single Vitamin C tablet. best of luck with your baby. Just drink cranberry juice or another type of acidic juice. I dislike fruit juice so I drink V-8 which works too. Or they sell cranberry tablets that you can take while pregnant. cranberry juice? It's the tannins. I know it's good for the urinary tract. I have no idea if it's good for an acute infection of how much you'd need to drink You can not treat your disease with drinking juice. Drinking fluids is good any how, but it is not a treatment for UTI. As you are pregnant, you can not take usual antibiotics. So better you consult with your doctor, and undergo treatment. try drinking cranberry juice! it helps to flush out your urinary tact, its good for you, and it tastes good! I've heard cranberry juice is EXCELLENT for urinary tract infections. Good luck!! |
