Urinary tract infection question. (male)?

Hi everyone. Today while at work I had a sudden urge to go to the bathroom really bad but I was working so I had to hold it like 15 minutes then I finally went and instead of relief I felt pain in my penis like fire was shooting out. It's not STD and I think I have urinary tract infection. I don't have time to go to the doctor till late afternoon tomorrow and i just drank a lot of water and cranberry juice (all that we had left). I have antibiotics but I was wondering if it's worth it to take them or not? Also, I have to work tomorrow is this a thing that will affect me while at work (besides when I'm peeing). Thanks for your help. Also I just went pee 5 mins ago and had a bad urge to go but only a little came out and it was a really bad pain.

it is not an std I haven't had sex for like more than 6 mos and im always safe so its not an std

If you have a urinary tract infection, it is worth taking the antibiotics. In the mean time take lots of fluids, and apparently double voiding(urinating again after 5 minutes) helps as well.

Some pain killers should help you cope with the pain.

You need to consider all natural urinary track infection remedies.

U should take a day off n go checkup... Otherwise, it will get worst... Even worse than u can imagine...

I wouldn't suggest you take those antibiotics. you should see a doctor; try not to drink anything else(to relieve pain) in order not induce urination until you see the doctor. Also, it is very uncommon for men to get UTI; which means it could be something else like chlamydia. And not all antibiotics cure all STD's there are special antibiotics made to cure different type of STD's so you could be wasting you time. be careful man and next time use a fr*&^* condom!!!!!!
god bless

then it could be this, you should schedual an appoinment with a urologist. not serious but if you sit a lot, this could be a major cause....
Prostatitis is inflammation or infection of the prostate gland 鈥?an organ about the size and shape of a walnut, located just below the bladder in males. The prostate gland produces semen, the fluid that helps nourish and transport sperm. Prostatitis can cause a variety of symptoms, including a frequent and urgent need to urinate and pain or burning when urinating 鈥?often accompanied by pelvic, groin or low back pain.
