Pregnancy and urinary tract infection?

My age is 29.We are trying for pregnancy from 4 or 5 months but to no avail.I have heard abt urinary tract infection as I feel some irritaion in vagina.Can somebody experienced tell me wat shall I do n cud there be other reason for not having pregnancy.Pls suggest.Only serious answers are welcome.Thanks alott.

Well first of all, are you sure you have a urinary tract infection?
Usually symptoms are
- Burning sensation while peeing
- Urge to pee almost every minute
- Bladder feeling full even though you haven't drank anything
- Blood coming out while peeing
- Pain while having sex

If you do have those symptoms, you need to go to the doctor and get medicine for it. It takes usually 2 days to go away, but if you leave it, it can damage your kidneys and cause them to fail so don't put the medication on hold.

For your pregnancy however, if you have a UTI and it gets treated, and you still cannot become pregnant, perhaps you should visit the doctor. You may have a fertility problem or your partner might. Have you recently came off birth control or anything related to that? That may also be the problem.

4 or 5 months isn't an incrediblie long time to be trying for some people it happens really quickly others it just takes a little bit longer I wouldnt worry about it x
As for the urine infection make sure you let your doctor know you are trying to conceive when you go for antibiotics Im 19 weeks pregnant and about 2 weeks ago I had one and could only be prescribed certain antibiotics the same stands if you are trying to conceive x

a urinarry tract infection will not stop you from getting pregnant, but if you do have an infection you will feel physically sick, cant et or drink apart from water, will be bleeding and you will be very sore and unconfortable, but this will not stop you from becoming pregnant, but i would suggest you go and see a doctor, so they can get you on some antibiotics, it should clear up in a few days, then start trying for a family again..

Have you been on the pill before? If you were on it a long time, it can sometimes take around a year or so to conceive. Keep trying and look into tracking your ovulation to increase your chances.

If you think you have UTI go and see your GP, you can also book an appointment with Family planning who will give you advice.

4/5 months is no time to pass without pregnancy, it could happen tomorrow or next year! irritation could be anything from friction to thrush to infection of some sort if worried get it checked out, just be patient and relax and a pregnancy will surely follow in time

I'd like to give you a serious answer but, altho I do have a urinary tract infection, I'm not pregnant and don't want to be. It's a woman's job, I think.
