Urinary tract infection or herpes? |
A good friend came to me and explained that he was peeing blood and felt as though the inside of his penis was swollen. At first I figured it was just a urinary tract infection, but as I began to research I found that all too often genital herpes symptoms can be mistaken for a uti. Opinions?? He can have itching or burning pain in the genital area, some red bumps in or around the genital area can turn into blisters or open sores. Well, herpes wont go away neither, it "sleeps". Common signs of herpes are often overlooked or confused with many things. However, they can be checked & medicated to prevent more outbreaks. |
