What are the 3 grocery food items that cure a Urinary Tract Infection?

What are the 3 grocery food items that cure a Urinary Tract Infection?

Cream of Tartar is a very old remedy, and from what I hear it works well and is quite reliable. Sure to be one of the items in that "report". You can buy it cheaply at your supermarket from the baking section (near baking soda, etc). Put a teaspoon in your mouth and down it with a drink of water. Might help to mix sugar with it as it doesn't taste wonderful.

== So then, my guess is that the 3 items are: ==

* Cream of tartar (baking ingredient, in supermarket, old cure, apparently works well)
* Cranberry (in supermarket)
* Cider vinegar (urine acidifier?, in supermarket)

== Other possibilities ==

The first 3 fit well & are found in supermarkets. I believe they are the most likely candidates .. other possibilities:

* Grapefruit seed extract (anti-microbial, grapefruits are in supermarket)
* Probiotiotic (eg. yoghurt, also in supermarket)

== Technical stuff ==

Cranberry contains mannose & makes it harder for microbes to attach to the bladder wall. I am quite sure you will find Cream of Tartar to be more reliable though.

"Tartaric Acid" would probably work too, and this is also found in the baking section of grocery stores. Tartaric Acid is a closely related compound to Cream of Tartar, but it is NOT exactly the same.

Where I come from we say "supermarket" but I think you guys use "grocery store" for the same thing :-)

There are no grocery items that can cure a UTI. However if one has a UTI, drinking cranberry juice and eating cranberries, or cranberry sauce, which are acidic, while urine is alkaline helps. The acidic elements can help kill bacteria. But it in itself does not.

I don't know about the 3rd.... but 2 are cranberry juice and water.....unless you count cranberry juice cocktail mixes as the 3rd. They flush your system and allow your body to pass the infection naturally

Water, cranberry juice, and more cranberry juice.

Water, cranberries, cranberry juice

I just know of cranberry juice.
